ONRIE KOMPAN
Onrie Kompan received his B.A. in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago and is the recipient of multiple grants from the Weisman Scholarship. YI SOON SHIN: WARRIOR AND DEFENDER is Onrie’s first professional entry into the world of comics.
He spent the last three years doing research on the subject and has journeyed all the way to South Korea in order to bring Admiral Yi Soon Shin’s story to life. During his travels, Onrie befriended historians and military advisors from the Republic of Korea army and navy.

An Italian artist that started his career illustrating short stories for Approbation Comics, TwentyToSix Books and Altena comics. Giovanni has been working with independent publishers such as Bluewater
(Vincent Price Presents #2 and #4, Plan 9 Strikes Again),
Moonstone Books
(Captain Action #3 and #4, The Spider Chronicles),
and Mohawk Media
(MR.T original graphic novel).
He is currently working on a number of projects which include
Survival, 36: Dead Corpses, as well as a new title for Moonstone Books.

REGGIE BYERS
Since 1987, Reggie Byers has created,
written and illustrated comic books
professionally. He got his first break
penciling ROBOTECH comic books for
Comico. The comics were the American
licensed comics based on the popular
Japanese anime, "MACROSS."
He illustrated ROBOTECH for 2 years.
After Comico, he self published a variety of
comic books which includes:
"SHURIKEN", about a female ninja,
"JAM QUACKY THE HIP-HOP DUCK"
and “CRESCENT”.
Reggie currently produces
"KIDZ OF THE KING", with his wife of 20
years, Dionne.
Founded on the Bible scripture, Galatians
3:26, KIDZ OF THE KING is a Christian
comic book that teaches its' readers how to
live their lives according to the Bible and is
currently published by UMI Inc out of Chicago,
Illinois.
In 2006, Ten Talents Productions was
granted the license to produce "Kidz" as an
animated series on DVD, which debuted in
October 2008.
Reggie and his wife look forward to growing
this "comic book ministry" to the level where
children all over the world will desire to be
"Kidz of the King."

Mike broke into comics in 1982, Co-Creating NEXUS with illustrator Steve Rude.
He is also the co-creator of BADGER, FEUD, SPYKE and has written numerous
mainstream comics,
including Marvel’s The Punisher and
DC’s The Flash.
Mike has been nominated for Best
Writer in the Kirby, Harvey and Eisner
Awards, and has won two Eisners for
his work on Nexus.
