The Jam Demo

The Jam Demo

Bernie has always been a fresh talent on the comic scene, with his provocative urban stylization, poetic timing and dark yet playful humor. His impact on comics can be most felt when one looks at the independent publishers of today where similar qualities now flourish in the wake of his groundbreaking body of work.
We have been fortunate enough to be able to present his works here on CO2 Comics. He has blown us away with his newly colored rendition of Cable, wet our appetite for more with his first lush pages Of The Spheres and tantalized us by embellishing Bill Cucinotta’s pencils with his inks on Death for a Dollar. We were not prepared, however, for our spontaneous amazement when we first viewed what Mr. Mireault simply dubs, “The Jam Demo.” Understandably, Bernie views this feature as a promotional piece or a type of trailer to promote a compilation of his great work on The Jam. To us it is simply stunning, but that is what we’ve come to expect from him. The Jam Demo is a comic that defies traditional comics with its animation but it’s interactive qualities separate it from the so called motion comics that are emerging everywhere. This is Bernie doing what he does best, experiment, press the boundaries, and be creative. Bernie is a master at tapping his resources, wether it be ink on paper, digital color, flash animation or his comic page here at CO2 Comics.
We stress to the creators who present their work on this site that CO2 Comics is a cooperative comics community where the creators benefit by attracting readers to each other with their free content that ultimately directs those readers to their own sites to promote their products, talents and services. Each comic is effectively an entertaining ad. The Jam Demo is more than an ad. It is a commercial! If you haven’t seen it yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! click here to view it and remember to visit Bernie’s site for future updates regarding publications of the Jam and all of his other fine works.
Are you Jammin’?
